I've started a prompt at the bottom of my journal page. It reads something like, be welcoming, be gracious, compliment someone, ask a question...its a 'to be' list. Leave a legacy. Intentional living. I'm sure most people do all this without thinking but a reminder doesn't go amiss!
Have you read The Go Giver by Bob Burgh? It’s a great book you would love it! I love helping others, and have recently started recording how many people I help in a week, which makes me feel really good, it’s so easy to help really isn’t it, and it makes you feel great ❤️
Thank you Suzy ! Connection, connecting with other people is such an important part of my life. As a self confessed extravert I get my energy from and being with people...if you sit me down in a busy café I become energised, so I plan time to build this in when I have a day working from home. Right now I am taking my border terrier Mille for a walk and will be chatting to people wherever our dogs stop to share sniffing smells. I often wonder what Millie would say if she could talk, probably something along the lines of " My human - why do you talk so much when I have the big tree along there to sniff - I'll just pull on my lead ...that's right off we go ...." The conductor Benjamin Zander talks about life being an enquiry and then we die...our part is to keep the enquiry open as long as we can and making a contribution whenever we can. I am so enjoying making a contribution to our Heart Leap community!!
