All sounds great Suzy and glad that you’re doing literary things for yourself this weekend after providing them for us last weekend! I’m also continuing the theme, going to see Lorraine Kelly at our local theatre as the 1st early event of hudds lit fest on Saturday and Sunday needs to be a severe get this house in order spring clean day after a v busy few weeks! Plus a longer walk I think.
My theme is March for March as i up my steps for the life after cancer fundraising hike at the end of April, and also Make Space as it’s been such a busy start to the year and I want to get on with the book!
Your weekend sounds brilliant Suzy. My contribution to International Women’s Day is to write the preface for my book, which will be explicit about why I have written it: inclusive design and sustainability are essential threads through every engineering discipline on the modern railway, and I want to make it easier for people to develop their careers in rail by giving them the knowledge they need to succeed. And also: there is a great abundance of memoirs by railwaymen, but the women who have powered the railway from the very beginning rarely get a look in!
My word for the month is joy - underpinned by writing, rowing and restoration throughout Lent
