"This life is mine alone. So I have stopped asking people for directions to places they've never been. There is no map. We are all pioneers." Glennon Doyle
You know when you’re unsure?
When you can’t quite see the path ahead?
When you doubt yourself?
What do you do?
Who do you ask for help?
Do you ask credible experts or people you know who have built that business/written the book/divorced that spouse and remained friends?
Or do you ask the people who have not done what you’re considering and can only give you opinions versus lived experience?
Or do you ask people who are positive can-do people versus those who tell you about all the health and safety issues that will get in your way?
Sometimes there is a time to consider health and safety and sometimes you just need someone to believe in you, for someone else to hold the torch and say - ‘that way looks good’.
I suppose you have to feel your way tentatively, trying different things and seeing what feels right - because even experts or those with experience are different from us and if we feel we need to move in a certain direction then we must trust that instinct or regret it at our leisure.
You follow your intuition ….even when it makes no sense at all.
