The Book Nook in Alnwick is a cosy, bright, eclectic top-floor apartment right in the centre of Alnwick, filled with books, vintage furniture, and inspiration.

I live just around the corner so if I’m free we can meet for coffee and/or a walk for a brainstorming session about your writing.
And then all you have to do is cosy up in this two-bedroomed colourful retro apartment in the heart of historic Alnwick and write your heart out. If you want to read a book (or write one!), this creative space, filled with eclectic vintage pieces and books, will inspire you and provide you with a restful retreat. From here you can explore fairytale castles, Uhtred's Last Kingdom, and the wide, wild beaches of Northumberland coast.
The space
There are two double bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and one with a sofa bed that can be converted into a king-size bed (with a very comfy topper)—or if you’re travelling on your own—we can make this your room to write.
But with two three-seater sofas in the living/dining area, this apartment can comfortably fit four people if you are travelling with friends and family or with another writer, so there’s plenty of room. (There’s a writing desk in the main sitting room too.)
With a roll top bath for wallowing in after a hard day’s writing.
And two big beds for sleeping in.

The apartment is yours completely! We are nestled between the chocolate spa and Dovecote Candle shop and two floors up with quaint views over Alnwick. All day long stay parking 5 mins walk. 2 hour free disc parking 5 metres outside the apartment.
And there’s a tiny but well-equipped kitchen too…
