I have been loving your prompts. I am decluttering my emails.. Due to a recent death in the family I realised that despite the fact we can just close our accounts, sometimes things are a bit more complicated than that and we have to go through the deceased persons emails to finish things off, unsubscribe, cash in those points etc.
I am deleting and deleting and deleting...both the inbox and the sent box...wow! sooooo many emails!!! And then I think, if these emails were paper I would be swapped in paper.
I’d love to let go of the bug that’s had me in its grip this week - it’s definitely an unwelcome guest and has stopped me doing my clearing out the last couple of days. But hopefully I will manage it this afternoon. 💚
As a disabled woman, with little ones, the mess and the clutter can sometimes feel very overwhelming. But I decided I can clutter one shelf, after I did that I did one side board and I’m just sitting down with a cuppa having gone through the kids bath toys. These prompts are excellent and I really appreciate them 😊
I've been following your 'declutter' month this month..and tackled the bathroom cupboards at early o'clock this morning..ditching age old shampoo, body lotions etc....it felt v cathartic!
Wow! Have been following this story closely Suzy. At first I was thinking, 'Noooo! You can't get rid of your past,' but YES you can do just that!!
I built a bonfire and burnt all my old work diaries when I left teaching in acrimonious circumstances. A new diary on the fire every half hour. Friends were with me and we cheered as each one went on.
I am seriously thinking of taking your lead and doing the same. There is the 'but you might one day need them to write a memoir', but how long have I been saying I want to let go if the past?
Today I posted off a shoe box full of pens and pencils (yes really, an adult shoe box full) to Pens for Kids UK. Then I sorted out some old picture frames, recycled the glass and dumped the frames.

In gratitude to you.
ps/ I am considering my journals too...
I have decided to let go and will burn them tonight.
Omg I can’t believe you are doing it!! But power to you if it feels right, you’re braver than me 😆❤️

Great, Louise. I am glad it's helping. Yes, let's do it. One shelf at a time.

It's so cathartic. But as we get just over half way, I am getting to the bigger emotional stuff. HOw are you doing?

I did a book box today. Some things for the bin, some things to donate, a dead fly. 🪰
