A study conducted by positive psychologist Dr. Martin Seligman and his colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania found that participants who wrote and delivered a gratitude letter showed a significant increase in happiness and a decrease in depressive symptoms, with effects lasting up to a month .
Today write a gratitude letter (or just a postcode) to someone you would like to thank and post it.
