“We’re in such a hurry most of the time we never get much chance to talk. The result is a kind of endless day-to-day shallowness, a monotony that leaves a person wondering years later where all the time went, and sorry it’s all gone.”
Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
Is this true for you?
Some prompts here to consider in your journal:
When did you last have a deep conversation(versus ‘shallow’) that made your heart leap?
How can shallow conversations actually enhance our lives?
Name three conversations that have changed the direction of your life.
We have been focussing on connection for the month of September.
On the 1st October, our theme in the Heart Leap Universe will be LETTING GO.
In our journalling prompts for all subscribers, we will be exploring the emotional trajectory of letting go and for our paid subscribers - I will be inviting you all to take part in The Minimalists Game - where we’re all going to declutter for the whole of October - together, en masse. (Let’s let go of some baggage!)
On 1st November - we’re going to start The Artist’s Way (for paid subscribers) so we can start the 2025 with our creativity fired up and ready to go. (We will take a couple of weeks off for Xmas and New Year) and for free subscribers - we will be exploring creativity in November, celebration in December and creating a new vision in January.
As well as the our twice weekly writing hour, online masterclasses, power hours, live journalling and more.
Thank you for being part of my Heart Leap Universe where we are writing our way to a life we love.
Very timely thanks Suzy , I have booked a stall at our local Flea market on Friday to sell books, cloths and house stuff. I have managed to fill 2 suitcases already, its so therapeutic ! All proceeds are going to Medical Aid for the Palestinians. ❤️🩹
