“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” — C.S. Lewis
Some dreams don’t die, they just hibernate.
Today is about the one you quietly put in the freezer. Maybe because life got too full. Or it felt too big. Or too far-fetched. Or you just couldn’t face another voice (internal or external) asking, “But who do you think you are?”
And yet, here it comes again. A little niggle. A flash. A memory. A late-night search history. A tiny voice asking, “Can we try again?”
This isn’t about launching a full-blown rebrand before breakfast. It’s just a gentle check-in. To notice what’s still alive in you — even if it’s been wrapped in bubble wrap and stuffed in the metaphorical freezer next to the emergency peas.
Some dreams are just waiting for the season to change.
Today’s journal prompt:
What dream did I put on ice that now wants thawing?
What would one small act of defrosting look like?
What a delicious and gentle prompt, Suzi! Thank you. Delicious because it makes me feel as though when I take that dream out of the freezer it will be so delicious to energetically eat and digest. So wholesome. So nourishing. Bless you.
