How to superboost your energy with Simon Alexander Ong: 31st July at 7pm
For paid subscribers I host one masterclass a month with either some group coaching with my good self or a star guest on the last Monday of the month. This month, I’m excited to be hosting Simon Alexander Ong, best-selling author of Energize: Make the Most of Every Moment. He’s a very big deal – an award-winning coach and author and his book Energize was one of my favourite books from last year which helped me fill my own tanks when I was running on empty. Here’s an interview with Simon in Metro. If you want to increase your energy – this is one masterclass not to miss! Happy Writing Hours: every Tuesday and Thursday at 9am
For paid subscribers in the Heart Leap Club, I host two writing hours a week on a Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9am-10am - where our Heartleapers who want to get some writing done (be a book, a substack post, an article…) sit for an hour, side by side and write quietly and companionably together on Zoom. It’s a regular space and time to commit to your writing practice. Just a little bit of chat at the beginning and end with fellow writers - it’s honest, kind and encouraging. I love it!
‘A Woman’s Voice is A Revolution’ out 1st September.
I’ve been working with top coach and author Lynette Allen on a contribution to her brilliant book – A Woman’s Voice is A Revolution: 50 women over the age of 50 impart their wisdom. I met Lynette, author and coach back in my Psychologies days and she’s always been a big inspiration to me. She made the big leap out of her corporate career to become a ‘medicine woman’. She now lives in Bali and her new book, inspired by her own big birthday is a curation of 50 women writing about their own experiences of life, sharing their wisdom and unique voices. The proceeds are going to support 50 women and girls who have been rescued from the streets of Bali with The Bali Street Mum Project. You can sign up to find out more here.
Alnwick Story Fest 16th-18th February 2024
We’ve just announced our second Alnwick Story Fest for February 16-18th 2024. Our theme this year is History, Mystery and Magic. I’ve just started a Substack for the festival so if you want updates about all our brilliant speakers – do sign up.
Social Media for Creatives: 6th August 2023
Big shout to the wonderful Claire Venus, a new creative friend who lives just up the road from Alnwick – who just happens to be a top coach. I had the most wonderful coaching session with her recently to help me make a plan for my new Substack universe.
