I didn't see it coming
It’s Day 3 of the Mid-Year Reset, and today’s prompt is a powerful one. (It’s also the final chapter of The Artist’s Way - if you’ve been following along - link for live 1pm call today below)
If you haven’t had time for The Artist’s Way this year (in the Heart Leap community, we do it every Spring), I’ve created an easy 21 day mid-year reset to press pause and consider how your year is going and how to course correct if you’re going in the ‘wrong’ direction. (Is there ever a wrong direction?)
Every day for the rest of June, I’m going to send you one question a day to ponder.
Here’s your question for today:
Take a moment to think back over the past six months.
What did you get through that you didn’t see coming?
Maybe it was something big. Maybe it was something small but draining. A change you didn’t choose. A challenge you had to rise to. A hard conversation. A long wait. An unexpected shift in plans.
Whatever it was, you’re here. That’s worth noticing.
Write it down—without judgement or needing to fix anything.
Back tomorrow.
P.S Here’s the link for the last Week 12 live Artist’s Way call for our Heart Leap community. Plus if you’re writing a book, starting a Substack or just want a little company while you write, The Heart Leap Writing Hour starts at 9am every Tuesday and Thursday. We are building creating habits that help us consistently write our books and projects. Do join us.
