How to address money worries, earn more than enough and create a healthy relationship with money
In this month's masterclass for paid subscribers, we're hosting Keris Stainton, host of The Lady Bird Purse for an honest discussion about money.
Masterclass: How to address your money worries, earn more than enough and create a healthy relationship with money.
25th September 2023 7.00pm
There's nothing that can make my heart sink more than money worries.
I've recently left a big job at a magazine and am now building up a portfolio career - freelance journalism, coaching, my substack newsletter (and some other random projects, a stall in a vintage shop in Alnwick, which doesn't actually earn me that much money but I love it!)
I'm focussing on simplifying my life, and being smart about how I earn and spend my money.
Because my parents died so young, I recently discovered I had subconscious belief running my show that I didn't have to plan for the future because I thought I'd die early too! It's been a great belief to inspire bold choices and an exciting life but perhaps not so great for long term financial planning - I have no pension. (Will I be eating cat food when I'm older?)
Let’s have an honest conversation about money.
I've been a fan of author Keris Stainton and her honest conversations about money since she started her The Lady Bird Purse Substack over two years ago.
On this month's Heart Leap masterclass, I've invited Keris to come along to have an honest conversation about money and for her to share her wisdom of what she's learned.
Keris is a one of my favourite people in the world, author of 14 books and founder of The Lady Bird Purse, with essays and interviews on money, where she explores what money means to us and how other women solve real life money issues.
Keris is not an expert in money but she’s one of the most honest people I know who is willing to be truthful about finances. She’s been interviewing experts, creatives, freelancers and writers for two years now so in this masterclass she’s going to help us have a open conversation about money.
These are the 7 questions I want to explore:
(What are your questions - put into the comments below)
What is an abundance mindset?
What beliefs stop us from earning more than enough money?
What's the best advice interviewees have given you about money and why?
How can you get to the root of your money problems?
How can you create a healthy relationship with money?
How can you educate yourself about money?
Do your beliefs about yourself correlate to how much you earn?
