Handle with care
Day 9 of the mid-year review. (Don't forget it's the writing hour at 9am - link below)
“Be patient with yourself. Nothing in nature blooms all year.” — Unknown
We all have that one area of life that feels… mid-makeover. Not a mess, exactly, just very much in progress. Still forming. A bit tender. Slightly sticky around the edges.
Maybe it’s your health. Your finances. Your creative work. A relationship. Your sense of self.
And while it’s tempting to speed things up or tidy them into neat little boxes, today is an invitation to pause — and ask how you can support that area with more kindness, more care, more patience.
Progress doesn’t need a whip. Sometimes, it just needs a warm cup of tea and someone to say, “You’re doing okay. Keep going.”
Today’s journal prompt:
What area of my life feels most ‘in progress’ right now?
How can I support it more tenderly — practically, emotionally, or energetically?
I run writing hours at 9am on a Tuesday and Thursday for all paid members of the Heart Leap substack. If you want to create a writing practice to start or finish your book or just have some company while you journal - do join us.
