"It's not just about getting rid of things. It's about choosing freedom and space over clutter." – Unknown
Journal Prompt: What would freedom from clutter feel like for you? How could simplifying your life provide more emotional space to pursue your passions?
What did you get rid of? We are Day 7 of The Minimalist Game. (declutter 7 things on day 7, 8 things on day 8…… 30 things on day 30. Eeek!)
7 things need to get out of the door by midnight today.
Come on. We can do this!

Today, I have professional heavy lifters coming to take away the big items I can’t lift on my own, things like an old freezer, water heater, and clothes washer that have been living in my basement, and the carpeting we ripped up that was in the attic. There are some electronics and broken furniture in the barn that they’ll haul away, too. All of these will leave space that I do not intend to fill. I’ve been on vacation from work while I’ve been emerged in a major purge. After today, I’ll be back at my desk and may not be able to keep up this momentum on a daily basis. There is more to do, but I’m physically and emotionally exhausted. Going back to my desk job will feel like vacation now! 😂
On catch up so 6 items out today (1,2&3 of October) loads more to go!
