At Heart Leap, I explore how to build a happy, creative, and simple life. At 9 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, I host ‘happy writing hours’ for paid subscribers. (Click on Zoom link below) It’s for anyone who is trying to write a book, start a substack, or just have a little accountability for their writing practice. We chat for 5 minutes or so, and then we write quietly together for the rest of the hour. It’s strangely comforting and motivational to have a cohort of writers to support you and write alongside you. I also run monthly master classes on motivation and inspiration.
"Be willing to be a beginner every single morning." Meister Eckhart.
It’s a great philosophy.
In Buddhism, it’s called the beginner’s mind.
It’s not being the expert.
It’s not presuming you know how today is going to go.
It’s not repeating the same old actions but expecting different results.
It’s starting the day with curiosity of what might be versus dread of what might be ahead.
It’s starting the day with “what if it’s possible?”
Every morning is a opportunity to reset.
Every morning is a chance to do and think differently.
Every morning is a time to begin again.
